This position is part of the Haskell Indian Nations University, Bureau of Indian Education (BIE). As a Food Service Worker you will be responsible for providing support to the dining facility and assisting with serving food and routine cleaning after each meal.
What You'll Do
- →As a Food Service Worker WG-7408-2, your typical work assignments may include the following under supervision: Prepares and assists in the preparation of variety of hot and cold foods.
- →Conveys food and supplies from various food service areas by carrying or utilizing a mobile cart.
- →Preps and sets up food service area under detailed instructions and in accordance with specific area needs.
- →Cleans, remove parts, and reassembles equipment and recognizes obvious wear or need for repairs.
- →Loads, unloads, and cleans food carts and food warmers.
- →Assists in stacking food or subsistence items in the storeroom and places supplies in proper storage.
