About the position: This position is Non-appropriated Fund (NAF) and will be assigned to the Delta Breeze Event Center on Travis Air Force Base, CA. Physical Effort: Frequently lifts or moves objects weighing up to 20 pounds unassisted, occasionally lifts or moves objects weighing more than 20 pounds with assistance. Eligible to use base facilities such as: Base Exchange (BX), Gym, Outdoor Rec, Library, Marina, Golf Course, Bowling Center, and the Arts & Crafts Center.
What You'll Do
- →Sets up glasses, silverware, dishes, trays, napkins, tablecloths/table skirts, condiments, and cold menu items (e.g., salad, dessert, bread, and cold beverages) on tables and or serving/buffet line.
- →Removes glasses, silverware, dishes, trays, napkins, tablecloths, and table skirts from tables.
- →Operates, breaks down and cleans all electrical equipment for food preparation.
- →Cleans kitchen equipment and cookware (e.g., worktables, pots and pans, chaffing dishes, sinks and refrigerators).
- →Separates food waste and trash from dishes, glasses and silverware, chaffing dishes, and cookware in dishwashing area.
- →Loads and operates dishwashers, stores clean dishes, glasses, silverware, cooking utensils and cookware.
- →Washes tables and counters, vacuums, and shampoos carpets.
- →Sweeps and mops kitchen floors, cleans windows, washes walls and cleans and sanitizes trashcans.
- →Sorts, washes, peels and cuts fresh fruits and vegetables.
