This position is located at Fort Bragg, North Carolina. Child and Youth Services (CYS) Employee Childcare Fee applicable to employees working at least 15 hours per week: First Child: 100% childcare fee discount (all CYS employees) Second and Subsequent Child:25% childcare fee discount (all CYS employees) Incentives and Bonuses Incentives will not be paid.
What You'll Do
- →Responsible for the delivery of a wide range of installation youth fitness, health, and outreach programs in multiple CYS settings.
- →Develops and maintains and partnerships with schools and community organizations.
- →Within an existing curriculum, develops and implements lesson plans and appropriate environments that incorporate a broad range of fitness and health activities for early childhood, school age, and youth program participants.
- →Assists in training coaches using the National Youth Sports Coaches Association (NYSCA) guidelines.
- →Provides assistance in planning practices to warm up/cool down techniques, injury prevention, proper use of materials and equipment.
- →Shares expertise in the operation of age-appropriate exercises and skills development for children and youth.
- →Helps inspect facilities/programs to ensure compliance with applicable standards and makes recommendations for improvements.
- →Secures supplies, equipment, and facilities as appropriate.

- ✓General Education courses do not count toward the credit total.
