The primary purpose of this position is: To provide executive support in the planning and execution of the daily operations of the Deputy Commander (DCOM), Pacific Air Forces, including general analysis and staff advisory services. Communicates Deputy Commander's vision, philosophy, and intent.
What You'll Do
- →Supports the PACAF Deputy Commander.
- →Provides critical analysis and brainstorming on issues of interest to senior leadership.
- →Provides administrative support for the Deputy Commander.
- →Providing project liaison and administrative supervision and direction to staff action officers who interact with the DCOM and the assigned front office.
- →Controls the Deputy Commander's calendar.
- →Arranges and schedules appropriate office calls, meetings, briefings, roundtable discussions, luncheons, and social events.
- →Plans, organizes, and executes complex programs, meetings, and visits (e.g., visits from senior government representatives, senior foreign government representatives, PACOM, NAF and wing commanders).
- →This position assists with managing the day-to-day administrative operations, ensuring smoothly functional and efficient operation on behalf of DCOM.
- →Serves as oversight for Defense Travel System actions for the Deputy Commander.
- →Ensures accurate accounting information, traveler information, and funds availability within the DTS system.
