The primary purpose of this position is to serve as the principal executive assistant performing various administrative and clerical duties in support of the Wing Commander, Senior Leadership Team and their staff.
What You'll Do
- →Provides a wide variety of recurring and nonrecurring personal and executive correspondence, reports, and other documents from information obtained from the staff, files, and other sources. 2.
- →Reviews and processes incoming and outgoing correspondence, reports, and other materials submitted for the Wing Commander's signature. 3.
- →Receives telephone calls, greets visitors and ascertains the nature of the calls or visits, screening those that can be handled without supervisor's help. 4.
- →Maintains Wing Commander's and Senior Leadership Team calendars, coordinates meeting arrangements, and schedules meetings.
- →Independently notes and follows up on commitments made at meetings by staff members. 5.
- →Performs other clerical and administrative work in support of the office/organization.
- →Assists the Chief of Protocol in managing, directing and coordinating protocol activities of the 688th Cyberspace Wing.

- ✓ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: This position is a Defense Civilian Intelligence Personnel Systems (DCIPS) position implemented under Section 504, Title V of Public Law 99-569, Intelligence Authorization Act for Fiscal Year 1987, as codified in Sec 1601, Chap 83 of Title 10 United States Code which sets forth Air Force policies and procedures for DCIPS.
- ✓This position is in the Excepted Service.
