Securing Travel, Protecting People - At the Transportation Security Administration, you will serve in a high-stakes environment to safeguard the American way of life. What You'll Do
- →This Executive Assistant position is located in the Office of the Administrator, Chief of Staff, Strategic Engagements Team.Transportation Security Administration, Department of Homeland Security (DHS).
- →Duties include but are not limited to: Serves as Executive Assistant to the Administrator (ADM), Deputy Administrator (DADM), and/or Chief of Staff, overseeing and coordinating internal and external engagements, including researching and vetting organizations and venues, and liaising with industry partners and internal program offices.
- →Plans, coordinates, and schedules high-level meetings and conferences; manages incoming calls, inquiries, and visitors; and oversees the flow of correspondence and documents to ensure timely handling of sensitive materials.
- →Additionally, manages all logistics for the ADM, DADM and Chief of Staff official domestic and international travel, including flight arrangements, transportation, briefing materials, and compliance with government policies and regulations.
- →Provides information, advice, and assistance on management and administrative projects, policies, and initiatives.
- →Reviews and analyzes program accomplishments, identifies problem areas, initiates corrective actions, and prepares special reports, briefings, and position papers on major issues.
- →Independently reviews policies and precedents to provide recommendations for applying them to sensitive or controversial cases, utilizing expertise in travel policy and government travel systems.
Requirements
- ✓You must possess U.S.
- ✓Citizenship or be a U.S.
- ✓You must have reached the minimum age (18) at the time of application.
- ✓You must complete a favorable Background Investigation (BI).
- ✓Selective Service registration is required.
- ✓You must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret Clearance.
