About the Role

The Environmental Care Specialist performs studies involving budgeting, costing, staffing, health systems, etc. for Environmental Management Service and formulates recommendations for the Chief and Assistant Chief, EMS concerning these areas.

What You'll Do

  • ***THIS IS NOT A VIRTUAL POSITION, YOU MUST LIVE WITHIN OR BE WILLING TO RELOCATE WITHIN A COMMUTABLE DISTANCE OF THE DUTY LOCATION*** Reviews incoming correspondence and work orders.
  • Manages reports, data, and documentation.
  • Represents the service on committees.
  • Supports procurement workflows.
  • Monitors contractor performance.
  • Communicates effectively with the team and internal and external stakeholders.
  • Coordinates multiple departs by tracking performance.
  • Provides program support to supervisors and program officials.
  • Plans and organizes pest management and textile care.
  • Conducts annual audits and develops guides and training.
  • Provides technical advice on operations and regulations.
  • Manages procurement actions and contractor performance issues.
  • Work Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00am - 4:30pm Recruitment & Relocation Incentives: Not authorized Critical Skills Incentive (CSI): Not approved
