What You'll Do
- →Determining incoming cases or legal actions requiring special handling, i.e., civil cause of action, criminal program category or civil disposition and making appropriate referral prior to coding and data entry Recommending revisions of office procedures to improve the docketing functions Conducting a periodic case certification process Preparing records for shipment to the Federal Records Center.
- →Position requires lifting boxes of closed cases (weighing under 40 pounds) to be filed, delivered and picked up.
- →Generating docketing reports at the request of management and/or support staff.
- →Interacting and communicating as needed with AUSAs, support staff, and court personnel.
- →Responsibilities will increase and assignments will become more complex as your training and experience progress.
