This position is located in the Office of the Under Secretary of War for Research & Engineering (OUSW(R&E)). The USW(R&E) serves as the Chief Technology Officer and is responsible for research, development, and prototyping activities within the Department of War (DoW).
What You'll Do
- →Incumbent typical work assignments may include the following: Serve as the central point of contact for senior-level issues, ensuring prompt follow-through, clear communication,integration and implementation, and continuous progress monitoring toward leadership's objectives.
- →Formulate, refine, and enforce departmental administrative policies and procedures to drive efficiency, regulatory compliance, and adherence to best practices.
- →Continuously evaluate and and provide recommendations to modernize administrative workflows, automate business systems, and processes to maximize productivity and organizational effectiveness.
- →Strategically allocate and optimize administrative resources (personnel management, mission support, security, enterprise correspondence, and office space) to meet evolving organizational demands.
- →Produce analytical and comprehensive performance reports that identify and track trends, assess outcomes, and deliver strategic recommendations to senior leadership.
