About the Role

This Senior Executive Service (SES) position is in the Office of Finance and Administration, Office of the Chief Human Capital Officer. About the Office of Finance and Administration. This is an office-centered position--you must physically report to one of the duty stations stated in this announcement on a regular basis (location TBD after candidate selected).

What You'll Do

  • The Office of the Chief Human Capital Officer (OCHCO) provides leadership, direction, and oversight of the Agency's human capital programs and policies.
  • OCHCO is responsible for developing and implementing strategic human capital management practices that align with the Agency's mission, goals, and priorities.
  • The Office serves as the principal advisor to Agency leadership on workforce planning, talent acquisition, employee and labor relations, organizational development, training, executive resources, performance management and employee engagement.
  • As the Deputy CHCO, the incumbent fully participates in planning, organizing, directing, and coordinating the Agency's human capital programs, serving as the CHCO's alter ego.

Requirements

  • You must be a U.S.
  • If you are selected, you must complete a 1-year SES probationary period, if not previously completed.
  • The Ethics in Government Act, P.L. 95-521, requires the applicant selected for this position to submit a financial disclosure statement, OGE-278, prior to assuming the SES position, annually, and upon termination of employment.
  • REAL ID requirements became effective on 05/07/25.

  • This position is designated as High Risk and requires a background investigation.
