About the Position: This position is located at Camp Pendleton, CA. A recruitment or relocation incentive may be authorized. Salary negotiation may be available for those candidates who are new to Federal service. Non-Federal work experience may be creditable for leave purposes. This is a Direct Hire Solicitation
What You'll Do
- →Provide therapeutic care in cases of acute gingivitis and periodontal disease around natural teeth, dental implants, and the periodontium using a variety of hand scale instruments and ultrasound equipment.
- →Remove sutures, changes dressings, and applies topical anesthetics.
- →Interpret routine x-rays to identify tooth structures, calculus, and abnormalities.
- →Provide oral hygiene instructions and educates patients on daily oral home health care.
- →Complete preliminary dental examinations to maintain dental records.
- →Perform deep scaling, root planning, and sub-gingival curettage under local anesthesia.
