About the Role
About the Position: The Dental Hygienist is responsible for performing prophylactic and preventive procedures in the treatment of patients with related dental needs. The hygienist will work at one of the various dental clinics across the installation. Primary working hours are Monday - Friday, 0715 - 1615, excluding federal holidays. NOTE: You MUST submit a copy of your license or certification with your application package or you will be rated ineligible. This is a Direct Hire Solicitation
What You'll Do
- →Perform complete and advanced oral prophylaxis and other dental hygienist procedures on ambulatory and non-ambulatory patients.
- →Complete patient preparation for dental hygiene treatment.
- →Manage radiographic images including bite wing, periapical, and panoramic x-rays.
- →Maintain patient's record of treatment within automated healthcare system.
