About the Role
About the Position: This position is with the the Directorate of Branch Clinics within the Health Clinic Presidio in Monterey, California. A recruitment or relocation incentive may be authorized. Salary negotiation may be available for those candidates who are new to Federal service. This is a Direct Hire Solicitation
What You'll Do
- →Perform complete and advanced oral prophylaxis on ambulatory and non-ambulatory patients.
- →Expose, develop, process, and mount radiographs including bite wing, periapical, and panoramic x-rays.
- →Make repairs and adjustments to teeth by smoothing rough edges, remove overhanging margins, reduce sharp edges, and insert temporary fillings.
- →Examine patient's mouth, throat, and pharynx, referring abnormalities to dentist.
- →Interpret routine x-rays to identify tooth structures, calculus, and abnormalities.
