This position is part of the Defense Threat Reduction Agency.
What You'll Do
- →As a CHIEF - TRAINING AND EXERCISES DIVISION at the GS-0301-15 some of your typical work assignments may include: Lead and supervise the agency's Exercise Division in its mission to provide direct, externally-facing exercise support to US combatant commands which require or desire CWMD and CBRN training equities.
- →Lead and supervise the agency's ongoing, externally-facing, CWMD-focused working groups that directly support activities US combatant commands.
- →Manage the exercise division's inputs to the development, execution, and assessment of the Agency's Joint Training Plan (JTP) with respect to CWMD equity needs of all combatant commands.
- →Manage CWMD/CBRN-related combatant command interests in DTRA's Lessons Learned / Corrective Action Program (CAP); subsequently direct the incorporation of outputs into Joint Staff and combatant command exercise scenarios.
- →Manage and oversee the division's planning and participation in the agency's monthly Exercise Integration Working Group (EIWG).
- →Direct the team of exercise planners to represent combatant command interests in DTRA's Joint Exercise and Training Working Group (JETWG) in order to coordinate DTRA exercise scenario inclusion Joint Staff and combatant command exercises.
