About the Position: Serves as the Chief of Staff for the Los Angeles District under the general supervision of the Deputy Commander (Deputy District Engineer/DDE) and the District Commander (District Engineer/DE) with wide latitude for exercising independent judgment and resourcefulness in the development and direction of District policies, programs, and operations. **Recruitment/relocation incentives may be authorized to highly qualified candidates**
What You'll Do
- →Plans, directs, coordinates and supervises assigned support office activities through direct supervision of Support Office Chiefs.
- →Outlines policy and overall program requirements and objectives and provides technical advice and assistance to subordinate supervisors as required.
- →Performs short and long-range planning in conjunction with prospective changes in Corps missions and programs.
- →Serves as consultant and technical advisor for the district on all matters relating to support office functions.
- →Consults and maintains liaison with other federal agencies and external stakeholder entities as required.
