About the Role

Serves as a Cashier (Host) in the Koko at Kalia Department of the Hale Koa Hotel. This position will remain open until filled with a first cutoff date of 7/14/2026 for employment consideration. Additional lists will be pulled after this first cut-off date at the request of the hiring manager. Local candidates will be reviewed first as PCS is not authorized. If determined that area of consideration is to be expanded, all candidates will be considered.

What You'll Do

  • Greets guests as they enter the restaurant, cafe, dining room, etc. and check for authorized identification.
  • Escorts guests to table and provides menus.
  • May make suggestions on menu items, answer questions and advises wait-help of any special request.
  • Answers phone for guest request for take out orders or other information.
  • Package the take out orders and accept payment for the order.
  • Performs cashier duties by receiving monies due, issuing change and receipts, and completing related cash control forms.
  • Incumbent may use personal computers or terminals to perform routine standardized tasks.
