About the Role

The primary purpose of this position is to serve as senior operations planner and assessment analyst of Headquarters Sixteenth Air Force, Air Forces Cyber, Joint Force Headquarters Cyber Air Force in the Studies, Analyses, Assessments, and Lessons Learned Directorate, specifically as the Chief for Policy, Assessments and Lessons Learned Division.

What You'll Do

  • Leads Sixteenth Air Force, Air Forces Cyber, Joint Force Headquarters Cyber Air Force operations assessments and lessons learned programs. 2.
  • Employs scientific and analytical techniques to define, quantify, and evaluate the feasibility of assigned projects, studies or problems. 3.
  • Plans, organizes, and oversees the activities of the Policy, Assessments and Lessons Learned Division, ensuring that operational assessments and lessons learned comply with legal and regulatory requirements and meet customer needs. 4.
  • Exercises supervisory personnel management responsibilities. 5.
  • Represents Sixteenth Air Force and Lessons Learned Directorate with a variety of installation and functional area organizations.

Requirements

  • ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: This position is a Defense Civilian Intelligence Personnel Systems (DCIPS) position implemented under Section 504, Title V of Public Law 99-569, Intelligence Authorization Act for Fiscal Year 1987, as codified in Sec 1601, Chap 83 of Title 10 United States Code which sets forth Air Force policies and procedures for DCIPS.
  • This position is in the Excepted Service.
