THIS IS A NATIONAL GUARD TITLE 32 EXCEPTED SERVICE POSITION. This National Guard position is for a AIRCRAFT LOADMASTER (INSTRUCTOR), Position Description Number PDD2300000 and PDD2309000 and is part of the WY 153rd Operations Group, Wyoming Air National Guard. This is a Title 32 Dual Status Technician Excepted Service position. Military affiliation is required.
What You'll Do
- →This Loadmaster position is assigned to the 153d Operations Group of the 153d Airlift Wing operating C-130 aircraft.
- →GS-8: The primary purpose of this position is to perform aircrew duties as loadmaster and to perform related staff support duties.
- →This is a developmental position to the full performance position of Loadmaster (Instructor), GS-2185-09.
- →GS-9: The primary purpose of this position is to administer, schedule, and conduct flight and ground training which develops, upgrades, and evaluates the skills of loadmaster aircrew members; performs aircrew duties as an instructor loadmaster in the C-130 aircraft and performs related staff support duties; to train crewmembers in these duties. ** This is NOT an all-inclusive list of duties. **
Requirements
- ✓KEY REQUIREMENTS: Open to current active-duty Air Force, Air Force Reserves, and other states' Air National Guard members.
- ✓Must become a military member of the Wyoming Air Nat'l Guard before appt.
- ✓May be required to successfully complete a two-year trial period.
- ✓Federal employment suitability is determined by a background investigation.
- ✓Recruitment/Relocation Incentive MAY BE authorized, if eligible.
- ✓Subject to funding and TAG approval.
- ✓PCS costs are not authorized.
- ✓Must be willing to relocate at own expense if selected.
- ✓EMPLOYMENT CONDITIONS: Technicians are paid through Direct Deposit/Electronic Funds Transfer (DD/EFT).
- ✓Military Technicians are ineligible for military enlistment, retention, and student loan repayment bonuses.
- ✓Acceptance of a Technician position will terminate these military incentives.

- ✓Acceptance of a permanent or indefinite position will cause termination from the Selected Reserve Incentive Program (SRIP) and TRICARE Reserve Select (TRS).
