About the Role
About the Position: This position is located at Blanchfield Army Community Hospital, Department of Pediatrics at Fort Campbell, Tennessee. This is a Direct Hire Solicitation A recruitment or relocation incentive may be authorized. Salary negotiation may be available for those candidates who are new to Federal service.
What You'll Do
- →Provides leadership with advanced practice nursing, preventative, and therapeutic pediatric health care services to patients in a Medical Treatment Facility (MTF).
- →Provide independent and collaborative pediatric/adolescent specialty care.
- →Medical management functions performed to include assessment of wellness, acute, non-acute, and chronic illness visits, etc.
- →Format therapeutic plan of care in collaboration with specialty providers.
- →Provide comprehensive pediatric health care services.
- →Prescribes medications and adjusts dosage according to patients needs and responses.
- →Perform minor diagnostic procedures such as punch biopsies, mole removal, wart removal, needle aspiration for culture, and shave biopsies.
