About the Role
About the Position: Incumbent serves as a primary care manager assigned to the Family Medicine at Naval Health Clinic Cherry Point, North Carolina. The incumbent performs professional medical screening, diagnostic, and treatment services to assigned military personnel and eligible beneficiaries. This is a Direct Hire Authority (DHA) solicitation utilizing the DHA for Certain Personnel of the DoD to recruit and appoint qualified candidates to positions in the competitive service.
What You'll Do
- →Manage the primary care needs of an assigned population of patients utilizing evidenced-based clinical practice guidelines and patient engagement.
- →Provide clinical expertise for consultative, educational, and evaluative activities to support peer providers and practice standards.
- →Facilitate continuing education and professional development for staff, students, colleagues, and paraprofessionals.
- →Serve as a patient advocate and integral member of the Medical Home Port Team to ensure the delivery of appropriate healthcare services.
- →Participate in continuous process improvement to improve access to care, quality of care delivered, experience of care and manages the utilization of health services by enrollees.
