About the Role
Advanced Medical Support Assistant serves within Patient Administration Service at the Kernersville Health Care Center within Salisbury VA Health Care System. The Advanced Level Medical Support Assistant (MSA) position serves as a Clinic Clerk and is a foundational role within the VHA. This announcement will be used to fill multiple Advanced Medical Support Assistant vacancies within Kernersville HCC.
What You'll Do
- →The Advanced Medical Support Assistant (AMSA) is a foundational role within the VA Medical Center.
- →The incumbent will serves as the first point of contact for our veterans.
- →The incumbent's work impacts the administrative aspect of patient care, including access scheduling/ coordinating appointments, answering phone calls and directing patients to the correct point of contact, collecting and updating demographic and insurance information, and patient processing and customer service.

Requirements
- ✓You must be a U.S.
- ✓Citizen to apply for this job.
- ✓Selective Service Registration is required for males born after 12/31/1959.
- ✓Must be proficient in written and spoken English.
