You will serve as an ADMINISTRATIVE/TECHNICAL SPECIALIST in the Missile Systems Hardware and Test Division, Global Deterrence and Defense Department of NAVAL SURFACE WARFARE CENTER. This position is part of the Warfare Centers Personnel Demonstration Project. The full performance level of NT-05 pay band encompasses positions equivalent to the GS-13 and GS-14.
What You'll Do
- →You will serve as the Acquisition Lead for the Missile Systems Hardware and Test Division, acting as the primary technical liaison between the Contracting Officer (CO) and the contractor.
- →You will analyze and evaluate plans and techniques of pre-award and post-award functions involving highly specialized acquisitions.
- →You will be responsible for the daily technical oversight of the contract, ensuring that contractor performance is in accordance with the contract’s terms, conditions, and quality assurance surveillance plan.
- →You will be responsible for reviewing and interpreting technical requirements, validating invoices for technical accuracy, and maintaining comprehensive documentation in the official COR file.
- →You will manage inputs, status, and history of acquisitions for quarterly Capital Planning Purchase Board (CPPB).
- →You will be responsible to work across all stakeholders to develop and maintain the divisions 5-year Acquisition Plan, and briefs management at Quarterly execution review on all acquisition efforts.
- →You will ensure that technical issues and potential contractual problems are identified and resolved promptly to support the mission.
