About the Role
Southern District of Florida in Miami, Florida. The selectee of this position serves as an Administrative Officer. You will be responsible for overseeing the activities, projects, and mission needs of the District. This includes coordinating all activities in support of the operational mission.
What You'll Do
- →As an Administrative Officer at the GS-0341- 13 level, some of your typical work assignments may include: Analyzing District financial operations for efficiency and makes adjustments as necessary to improve effectiveness.
- →Monitoring administrative services and related actions for deficiencies and to ensure corrective action occurs.
- →Planning the work to be accomplished by subordinates, establishes priorities, assigns work, evaluates work performance, provides advice, counsel, and guidance to subordinates Developing short and long range plans for District administrative operations.
- →Ensuring the administrative and financial management activities are performed accurately and timely in accordance with established regulations and policies.
- →Forecasts district financial needs to ensure district funds are obligated and spent in an appropriate manner, staying within allocated funds while dealing with changes in programs, staffing levels, and/or unanticipated events tied to mission workload.
- →Develop and implement effective and regular communication with staff as well as agency divisions: Human Resources, Information Technology, the Procurement Office, Financial Service, and the Management Support Division.

Requirements
- ✓Must complete an initial online questionnaire and additional assessment(s).
