About the Role
About the Position: Serves as the Administrative Officer responsible for a broad range of administrative, financial and office management functions to include special functions in planning, organizing, directing and managing the offices administrative programs.
What You'll Do
- →Make recommendations to resolve discrepancies based upon the interpretation of applicable regulations.
- →Provide assistance to project staff to resolve a variety of administrative problems requiring the application of various guidelines and coordination with the responsible staff at the office.
- →Track receipt of supplies and services to ensure the Government receives goods and services on time.
- →Use computerized spreadsheets as a tool for monitoring planned financial and manpower resources for programs.
- →Provide administrative functions including processing mail, answering phones, calendar management, onboarding/outboarding activities and maintenance of personnel records, timekeeping and payroll, and key inventory and access control.
- →Liaise between the field office and District staff offices regarding personnel, IT, supplies and other administrative transactions.
- →Review administrative management techniques and procedures to make recommendations to the Branch Chief on needed improvements.
