You will serve as an Administrative Officer in the Systems Directorate, Code 550200, Division of NAVAL RESEARCH LABORATORY.
What You'll Do
- →You will manage complex administrative or technical programs by analyzing and resolving sensitive, high-impact organizational issues.
- →You will plan and execute project tasks, adapting established methods to solve unique operational problems and establish new standards.
- →You will interpret general policy guidelines and exercise initiative to develop innovative solutions for complex scenarios.
- →You will build collaborative partnerships across internal teams and external organizations to coordinate complex initiatives and improve operational workflows.
- →You will partner directly with customers and stakeholders to assess their program needs and design tailored strategies to achieve their goals.
- →You will provide technical guidance, mentorship, and expert advisory support to team members and specialists across the organization.
- →You will design and implement streamlined administrative processes to reduce costs, save time, and optimize program resources.
- →You will promote and maintain high-quality, customer-focused support services to ensure user satisfaction across programs.
- →You will ensure all program activities maintain full compliance with workplace safety standards, equal opportunity regulations, and organizational policies.
- →You may supervise lower-level staff by managing daily work assignments, identifying professional development needs, and completing administrative personnel actions.
Requirements
- ✓In lieu of specialized experience, you may qualify with the following education or combination of both education and experience: Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree or 3 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree or LL.M., if related A transcript must be submitted with your application if qualifying using education.
