About the Role
Serves an Administrative Officer in a Flight Standards Functional Area. Incumbent is responsible for performing multiple and varying assignments under the general direction of the manager. May work as a team member on various projects. Responsible for providing or obtaining a variety of management services essential to the direction and operation of the organization.
What You'll Do

- →Performs multiply and varying assignments under the limited direction of the manager.
- →Acts as an individual contributor and/or may serve as a team leader on various projects.
- →Applies experience and advanced knowledge and understanding of management principles. practices, methods, and techniques, and skill in integrating management services with the general management of the organization.
- →Provides and/or obtains a variety of management services essential to the direction and operation of the organization.
- →Demonstrates considerable independence in planning time and assists others to plan and use assigned resources to complete tasks.
- →Provides, secures, or negotiates for the resources or services needed to manage the office of the assigned organization.
- →The work involves direct assistance to the supervisor who has the primary responsibility for the direction of the organization established to accomplish the mission.
- →As the office Administrative Professional: Tracks and analyzes data to ensure compliance with policies and procedures.
- →Responsible for coordinating and performing multiple and varying assignments under the general direction of the manager.
- →May work as a team member on various projects.
- →Responsible for planning time and assisting others to plan and use assigned resources to complete tasks.
- →Responsible for coordinating and accomplishing all administrative tasks in a wide range of administrative and analytical duties.
- →Evaluates and monitors office expenditures and makes sound changes based on trends and analysis, merit and deficiency situations, and known or anticipated program changes.
Requirements

- ✓Education substitution for FV-G: Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree or 3 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading toward such a degree or LL.M., if related.
- ✓There is no education substitution at the FV-H level.
- ✓Substitution of education or equivalent combinations of education and experience may be qualifying for this position.
