Marine Corps Community Services (MCCS) is looking for the best and brightest to join our Team! MCCS is a comprehensive program that supports and enhances the quality of life for Marines, their families, and others in the Marine Corps Community. We offer a team oriented environment comprised of military personnel, civilian employees, contractors and volunteers who keep the organization functioning smoothly and effectively.
What You'll Do
- →Performs windows systems administration duties for the Marine Corps Community Services (MCCS) global data network, supporting both enterprise server farms and command site environments.
- →Provides support for the installation, configuration, maintenance, and optimization of hardware and software systems spanning a diverse technology stack.
- →Key platforms include SCCM, SolarWinds, Active Directory, DHCP, DNS, Microsoft 365, Azure, Remote Desktop Services, Okta, VMware, and NetApp Storage, as well as cloud and on-premises services.
- →Manages application version control and release planning, documents system configurations, and ensures compliance with security and operational standards.
- →Monitors and tunes systems and network performance, diagnosing infrastructure issues, and restoring services to full functionality following outages or failures.
- →Ensures all MCCS applications are protected by appropriate cybersecurity measures and safeguards data integrity through the evaluation, implementation, and management of effective hardware and software solutions.
- →Offers expert guidance on a broad spectrum of complex IT issues, consistently interpreting and applying relevant policies, standards, and guidelines.
- →Conducts technical analyses and recommending resolutions for infrastructure challenges and identifying opportunities for service delivery improvements.
- →To include testing and validating system functionality, optimizing performance, and defining technical requirements for new implementations and enhancements.
- →Provides World Class Customer Service with an emphasis on courtesy.
- →Assists customers and communicates positively in a friendly manner.
- →Asks questions to determine, verify and solve problems.
- →Checks for satisfaction on the quality of services.
- →Takes action to solve problems quickly.
