This position is located in the Department of Health & Human Services (HHS), Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS), Office of Financial Management, OFM, Front Office, Travel Concierge Team. As a Travel Concierge, GS-0343-13, you will serve as the senior travel liaison and authoritative analytical resource for CMS political appointees and Senior Executive Service (SES) members.
What You'll Do
- →Serve as the senior dedicated point of contact and travel liaison for CMS political appointees and SES members, coordinating all aspects of official domestic and international travel.
- →Serve as the primary point of contact for the most complex, sensitive, and high-visibility travel situations involving political appointees and SES members.
- →Interpret and adapt Federal travel regulations and agency directives to address the most complex situations involving senior official travel where standard guidance does not directly apply.
- →Lead the development and delivery of formal training programs and oral presentations to CMS staff and other entities across the agency regarding Federal travel regulations, agency travel policies/procedures, and government-wide travel system updates.
- →Identify and resolve the most complex and sensitive problems relating to travel operations for political appointees and SES members.
