About the Role
You will serve as a Technician in the Rapid Mission Integration & Interoperability Department of NAVAL SURFACE WARFARE CENTER. This position is part of the Warfare Centers Personnel Demonstration Project. The NT-5 pay band encompasses positions equivalent to the GS-13 and GS-14. The salary range shown represents all of the positions within the band, including high grade positions. This is not a high grade position; therefore, the salary may be limited to a GS-13, Step 10; currently $138,370.
What You'll Do
- →You will serve as a technician supporting the Tactical Communication Branch (MXLN) of the Expeditionary C3 and Cyber Division (MXL).
- →You will apply knowledge of design, systems integration and testing, and maintain schedules and milestones.
- →You will communicate at all levels of management and coworkers at NSWC Crane as well as with external customers and contractor partners.
- →You will support scientific and engineering activities through the application of various skills and techniques in the electrical, mechanical, physical science, biology, or mathematics fields.
- →You will perform work of a specialized nature, demonstrating high level technical depth, requiring extended technical experience and development.
- →You will serve as a lead resource in the specialist area and will be expected to independently carry out work assignments which require planning, organization, and execution of projects.
