This position is part of the Warfare Centers Personnel Demonstration Project. The NT-5 pay band encompasses positions equivalent to GS-13 and GS-14. You will serve as the Foreign Materiel Program Subject Matter Expert (SME) in the Warfighter Defense and Systems Integration Department, Explosive Ordnance Disposal Information Management Division, FMA&E Branch (Code W21) of the Naval Surface Warfare Center Indian Head Division.
What You'll Do
- →You will function as the primary liaison between Foreign Materiel Acquisition and Exploitation Branch and other agencies to acquire foreign threat weapon systems for the purpose of defining achievable technical exploitation objectives.
- →You will produce the requirements for threat characterization and countermeasures development for the Joint Service Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD) and Intelligence Communities so that high valued items are obtained.
- →You will work directly with senior program managers, engineering and analysis team leads as well as Project Security Officers to enable development of critical intelligence and effective force protection software and hardware solutions.
- →You will ensure foreign threat weapon systems are obtained and exploited at a throughput that is achievable for all parties with the correct classification status in relation to its particular security classification guide.
