This position is located in the Department of Health & Human Services (HHS), Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS), Digital Services at CMS (DSAC). As an Information Technology (IT) Specialist, referred to here as a Technical Designer, GS-2210-12, you will apply user-centered design principles, enterprise architecture knowledge, and technical expertise to deliver high-quality, accessible, and scalable digital solutions.
What You'll Do
- →Develop, implement, and/or oversee a variety of complex IT projects to develop, modify, or enhance a product, service, or system.
- →Facilitate the end-to-end design of digital products and services, encompassing the full spectrum of user experience and product development activities.
- →Translating business and user requirements into technical IT specifications, design artifacts, and interactive prototypes that serve as the foundation for product development.
- →Analyze research findings to influence product and service development, evaluating a range of qualitative and quantitative metrics using frameworks centered on user needs, resource prioritization, and program management.
