What You'll Do
- →Position Summary The primary purpose of this position is to serve as a first level supervisor, providing planning.
- →Directing, organizing, and exercising control over nonsupervisory employees assigned to USAFE-AFAFRICA Warrior Preparation Center Mission Support Directorate.
- →Also serve as Senior Logistics consultant in the Warrior Preparation Center (WPC) with responsibility for planning, maintaining, coordinating controlling, and managing all exercise related base support logistics issues and ensuring internal support to the organization is being met through supply, transportation, and maintenance engineering.
- →Duties/Responsibilities: Plans, organizes, and directs the activities of Mission Support Directorate, ensuring that Facility Management, Supply, and Security Operations comply with legal and regulatory requirements and meets customer needs.
- →Exercises supervisory personnel management responsibilities.
- →Represents the Warrior Preparation Center, Mission Support Directorate with a variety of installation and functional area organizations.
- →As Senior Logistics Consultant and technical advisor, leads the Logistics planning team.
- →Serves as the logistics officer responsible for developing and monitoring directorate exercises budgetary estimates and inputs.
- →Approving Official for Government Purchase Card (GPC) usage.
- →Monitors expenditures for supplies and equipment, equipment maintenance contracts and local purchases related to exercise budget.
- →Provides guidance to subordinates writing statements of work to contract local economy services and supplies.
