About the Role

You will serve as a SUPERVISORY PROGRAM ANALYST performing as the Director Facilities Management (SEA 10G3) of NAVAL SEA SYSTEMS COMMAND. You will be responsible for all facility and property related issues.

What You'll Do

  • You will be responsible for strategic planning and managing space, budgeting for maintenance and repairs, construction and related cost associated with NAVSEA facilities.
  • You will carry out EEO and civilian personnel policies and communicate support of these policies to subordinates by setting performance objectives, conducting reviews and formally assessing employee performance throughout the year.
  • You will function as the Command’s top authority and negotiator on all matters related to workspace management, facility IT tools and data bases, property and facilities management both with the Command and with external organizations.
  • You will establish and maintain long range plans for facilities and space management.
  • Planning must take into consideration the long-range organizational specifications including the characteristics of the organization in the future.
  • You will execute financial resource planning, budgeting and allocation involved in implementing all space acquisitions, allocations, internal moves, leasing and building maintenance.
  • You will function as the lead for the facilities Sub-competency within the Corporate Operations competency Domain.
  • You will be responsible for the overall workspace management functions including preparation, acquisition, allocation, planning and establishing the Command's space policy.
  • You will direct and manage program related to workspace, facilities and property which directly affect the total population for NAVSEA Directorates and PEOs/PAEs.
  • You will be responsible for leased space budgeting and execution and reimbursement, management of these functions facilitates the effectiveness, efficiency and productivity of the organization.
  • You will demonstrate knowledge of DON shore enterprise organizations’ missions, policies, and objectives.
  • You will possess knowledge of guidelines and standards for design, construction, management and maintenance of DON facilities and infrastructure.
  • You will have experience in military command structure, mission, programs and organizational relationships, and knowledge of DoD and DON.
