This position is in the Supervision/Management Work Category at the Senior Work Level within the CES Occupational Structure. This position is for DISA White House Communications Agency at Joint Base Anacostia-Bolling, District of Columbia.This is an Excepted Service position and does not confer eligibility to be converted to the Competitive Service. If you are a current Federal Career/Career-Conditional employee, you will be placed on an Excepted appointment under 10 U.S.C. 1599f.
What You'll Do
- →Performs work in specialty areas to include policy and planning, security, systems analysis, applications software, operating systems, network services, data management, systems administration, and customer support.
- →Manages multiple large and complex projects through the systems development life cycle from project initiation, requirements definition, design and development testing, infrastructure support, implementation, maintenance, and retirement.
- →Participates on task forces and project teams; provides expert advice and consulting support for requirements analyses , long and short range planning; and other studies of IT issues.
- →Responsible for the operation of servers and network devices for users of Non-classified Internet Protocol Router Network (NIPRNET), Secured Internet Protocol Router Network (SIPRNET), and Joint Worldwide Intelligence Communication Systems (JWICs).
- →Leads project staff responsible for managing, administering, developing, and maintaining information technology software applications with an emphasis on knowledge management.
Requirements
- ✓There is no substitution of education for the Qualifying Experience at the GG-14 grade level.
