This position is in the Supervision/Management Work Category at the Senior Work Level within the CES Occupational Structure. This position is for DISA White House Communications Agency at Joint Base Anacostia-Bolling, District of Columbia.This is an Excepted Service position and does not confer eligibility to be converted to the Competitive Service. If you are a current Federal Career/Career-Conditional employee, you will be placed on an Excepted appointment under 10 U.S.C. 1599f.
What You'll Do
- →Serves as an expert IT Specialist working in specialty areas such as policy and planning, security, systems analysis, applications software, operating systems, network, data management, systems administration, and customer support.
- →Performs the full range of activities relating to IT project management to include in-garrison support, trip site support, and continuity of operations locations.
- →Responsible for the end-to-end engineering of divisional technology requirements including the development of system architecture diagrams, validation testing, quality assurance, certifying system performance, and security across all enclaves.
- →Serves as a lead and expert advisor to the Voice Systems Division, providing expert guidance and strategic recommendations regarding the engineering, implementation, and sustainment of secure voice and communication platforms.
- →Performs work involving the planning, installation, configuration, testing, implementation, and management of the White House Management Office's (WHMO) Command and Control Network.

- ✓There is no substitution of education for the Qualifying Experience at the GG-14 grade level.
