THIS IS A NATIONAL GUARD TITLE 32 EXCEPTED SERVICE POSITION. This National Guard position is for a SUPPLY TECHNICIAN - Title 32, Position Description Number PDD0849000 and is part of the KY WHFRTC, National Guard. NOTE: Indefinite employment is temporary and is expected to last more than one year but no more than five consecutive years. This appointment will not exceed 04-SEPT-2027 and will not be extended without further competition.
What You'll Do
- →As a SUPPLY TECHNICIAN - Title 32, GS-2005-7, you will perform routine and non-routine material coordination duties for special programs, maintenance, or production shops.

- →Be responsible for local management of decentralized and decontrolled items which requires technical intervention to assure effective supply support and economy.
- →Plan requirements, both quantitative and monetary, to satisfy customer needs.
- →Authorize procurement and is responsible for funds management.
- →Responsible for limited aspects of storage management.
- →May develop and install local procedures and techniques to achieve and maintain smooth, effective, and coordination storage operations.
- →Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements
- ✓Military Grades: SPC (E4) - MSG (E8) RANK REQUIREMENT: Member must provide in writing with their application package that they are willing to accept a reduction in rank in order to be qualified for this position, if applicable.
- ✓Failure to do so will result in disqualification.
- ✓CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT: You must maintain membership in the Kentucky National Guard.
- ✓You must be assigned to a compatible military position.
- ✓Wear of the military uniform.
- ✓Position may require a pre-employment physical.
- ✓May be subject to furlough actions.
- ✓May be required to successfully complete a trial period.
- ✓Participation in direct deposit is mandatory.
- ✓Must obtain and maintain a favorable adjudication of a T3 or equivalent investigation.
- ✓Acceptance of a Federal position may terminate a military bonus.
- ✓Acceptance of a Federal position will terminate Tricare Reserve Select (TRS) eligibility.
- ✓This position is covered by the Domestic Violence Misdemeanor Amendment (30 Sep 96) of the Gun Control Act (Lautenberg Amendment) of 1968.
- ✓An individual convicted of a qualifying crime of domestic violence may not perform the duties of this position.
