About the position: This position is Non-appropriated Fund (NAF) and will be assigned to the NAF Accounting Office. This is a regular, full-time position (35-40 hours per week)
What You'll Do
- →Serves as the focal point for squadron property management, ensuring property control and disposal processes are consistent with guidance.
- →Provides logistics guidance, training and assistance for activities in organizing and controlling all property items and maintaining accurate asset listings.
- →Establishes and conducts annual property inventories, ensuring items are properly labeled and marked.
- →Reviews and coordinate on capital requirements budgets, purchase requests and all five-year capital requirements to ensure proper fund source.
- →Manages and coordinates with activity managers and buyers on items submitted to government liquidators for resale.
- →Manages and monitors reports of survey and inquiries and investigations.
- →Vehicle Control Officer and focal point for vehicle support requirements.
- →Ensures vehicle maintenance and inspections are performed and documented.
- →Conducts training to instruct personnel on proper use, operations and safety aspects of vehicles assigned.
- →Reports and processes vehicle accidents and insurance claims.
