The primary purpose of this position is: To serve as a first level supervisor providing planning, directing, organizing,and exercising control over nonsupervisory employees assigned to the Service Contracts function. Performs ContractingOfficer's Representative (COR) and quality assurance evaluation (QAE) functions, which include inspecting/monitoringcontractor performance.
What You'll Do
- →Primary responsibility as the Chief of Service Agreements is to supervise all assigned Contracting Officer Representatives and to ensure the successful acquisition of all service agreements as required to support Civil Engineer goals and objectives.
- →Exercises supervisory personnel management responsibilities.
- →Serves as Activity Management Program (AMP) Manager for all assigned service agreements.
- →Represents the Operations Flight in the Civil Engineer Squadron with a variety of installation and functional area organizations.
- →Plans acquisitions for standard or specialized commodities, services, and/or facilities and maintenance contracts where specifications have become standardized and established competitive markets and price competition exist.
- →Manages contract performance, closes out contracts, and assists in contract termination.
