About the Role
About the position: This position is Non-appropriated Fund (NAF) and will be assigned to the Scott AFB Community Center.. This is a Regular Full-Time Position, 35-40 hours per week.
What You'll Do
- →Responsible for the management of all aspects of the Community Center operation.
- →Plans, manages, and executes a variety of innovative and needs-based quality of life programs and services IAW DAFI requirements.
- →Manages program scheduling and coordinates with other activities and related agencies to avoid conflicts.
- →Evaluates the effectiveness of ongoing programs and services from the standpoint of participation, resources, and program after-action evaluations.
- →Collaborates with Marketing in developing effective strategies to promote programs and services and maximize participation through FSS web pages, social media platforms, and other methods.
- →Works closely with the Operations Manager (Zeppelin's Food and Beverage) operations pertaining to catering and lounge services that are provided within the facility.
- →Formulates, justifies, and executes both the appropriated funds (APF) and non-appropriated funds (NAF) budgets.
- →Implements accounting practices and internal control procedures for receiving, safeguarding, and disbursing all funds and assets.
- →Maintains an accurate account of daily sales revenue, operational funds, fixed assets, and property.
- →Procures and/or initiates procurement documents for supplies and equipment.
- →Reviews and evaluates purchases of supplies and equipment using all required AF systems to ensure compliance with proper purchase, inventory, and accounting processes.
- →Responsible for managing maintenance/repair of facilities and equipment.
- →Prepares and submits work order requests as required.
- →Supervises personnel assigned to Community Center.
