About the Role
You will serve as a Supervisory Program Manager with Bureau of Reclamation. Reclamation is seeking a career professional looking for an opportunity to capitalize on their expertise as a Supervisory Program Manager. You can make a difference in the West by assisting in meeting increasing water demands while protecting the environment. Duty Location: Lakewood, Colorado This is not a remote position.
What You'll Do
- →Plans and assigns and evaluates work performance; provides advice, counsel, or instruction to employees on work and administrative matters; hears and resolves complaints from employees; identifies and provides for developmental and training needs of employees. 2.
- →Defines and aligns program goals with agency-wide strategic priorities for environmental (hazmat, National Environmental Policy Act NEPA, Clean Water Act-CWA, Endangered Species Act-ESA, invasive species), sustainability (energy management), and cultural resources (National Historic Preservation Act-NHPA, museum property, Native American Graves Protection and Repatriation Act-NAGPRA, history). 3.
- →Establishes and adjusts program policies, priorities, and operating guidelines to improve service delivery and ensure responsiveness to evolving mission needs. 4.
- →Develops organizational environmental, sustainability, and cultural resources management policy and procedures that cover environmental, sustainability, and cultural resources program. 5.
- →Analyzes, interprets, and oversees the implementation of environmental, sustainability, and cultural resources management policies.
Requirements
- ✓Must provide proof of U.S. citizenship.
- ✓Appointment subject to background investigation and favorable adjudication.
