You will serve as a Supervisory Production Controller (Ships) / Scheduling & Analytics Branch Manager in the Business & Financial Division of the Operations Department of PSNS and IMF.
What You'll Do
- →You will be responsible for the development of nuclear and non-nuclear technical work sequences and the optimization of these work sequences for the department.
- →You will be responsible for the development of preliminary schedules for the definition of management strategy for an availability through detailed scheduling of key operations and shift-by-shift work sequencing for current availabilities.
- →You will oversee the preparation nuclear and non-nuclear work and test schedules and Critical Path Method (CPM) networks for nuclear and non-nuclear submarines, surface ships and service craft.
- →You will be responsible for the upgrading and maintenance of the scheduling systems and methods used in the shipyard for scheduling availabilities.
- →You will direct the efforts of subordinate supervisors in order to avoid scheduling events on one or more projects that conflict with events on other projects.
- →You will conduct reviews of schedule adherence on complicated availabilities and makes recommendations to correct causes of departures from schedules.
- →You will develop standard schedules for repeat type manufacturing, repair and alteration work items.
- →You will develop standard sequences for accomplishing productive work and testing by type of ship and type of availability for use in scheduling.
- →You will conduct scheduling conferences affecting nuclear and non-nuclear work and testing.
