What You'll Do
- →As a Supervisory Policy Analyst, at the full performance level, GS-15, you will perform the following duties: Coordinates complex program areas and applies skill in planning, developing, coordinating, and implementing new policies, programs, processes, concepts, and/or procedures.
- →Leads and formulates strategic policy or policy changing efforts.
- →Analyzes, develops, and reviews a variety of technical and sensitive reports from other DHS Components, Analyzes, evaluates, and assesses policy programs, projects, and support activities directly impacting the organizations mission.
- →Responsible for the development of new policies based on the results of studies and reviews to ensure effective coordination and integration with agency wide strategy.
- →Drafts and critically reviews proposed policies, legislation, and regulations impacting agency wide programs and operations including those involving broad national and international level law enforcement and immigration policy, and internal operational and administrative policy.
- →Oversees the administrative aspects of various work projects, including reporting on the status of projects, allocating and using both monetary and staff resources, and planning resource needs for the projected work.
- →Supervises a staff of policy analysts and support personnel.
