About the Role

Organizational Location: This position is with the Department of Homeland Security, within U.S. Customs and Border Protection, Office of Training and Development, located in Artesia, NM.

What You'll Do

  • As a Supervisory Management and Program Analyst, you will lead a team of analysts and specialists who conduct complex studies and analyses to improve the productivity, effectiveness, and efficiency of OTD programs and operations.
  • Developing, implementing, and monitoring management information systems, planning and controlling processes, and performance measures that support long- and short-range planning, budget formulation, and resource allocation for OTD.
  • Analyzing new and existing legislation, regulations, executive orders, and DHS/CBP directives for impact on OTD programs and operations; draft and coordinate policies, issuances, and guidance; and recommending implementation strategies.
  • Preparing and delivering briefings, reports, and presentations for OTD and Border Patrol Academy leadership; workgroups, and conferences with CBP components and external oversight entities; and coordinate activities with internal and external stakeholders.
