The position is located in the Economic Research Service (ERS), Administrative and Financial Services (AFS). The selectee is not required to report to a government office, however, the option to work in one of the Agency offices may be available. In this position, you will establish criteria, formulate studies, assess program effectiveness, and evaluate the effectiveness of the organization's Human Capital and Workforce Planning process.
What You'll Do
- →Recommends efficient processes to execute implementation and serves as the Policies and Procedures liaison with AFM-HR Team.
- →Evaluates the impact of human resources policies and procedures established by the ARS Administrative and Financial Management Division and the Office of Personnel Management and anticipates potential impact on Agency goals and objectives.
- →Independently reviews Agency staffing levels and advises management officials of potential staffing needs.
- →Assists Division Directors, Branch Chiefs and selecting officials in the preparation of justification documents associated with established Recruitment, Retention, and Relocation policies and procedures.
- →Collects, analyzes, and assembles human capital data and information from various sources within the Agency for the purpose of preparing reports and requests for members of Congress, Departmental officials, Mission Area, Office of the Administrator.
- →Prepares quarterly, bi-annual, semi-annual, and annual human capital report of activities for review by management officials within the Agency.
