The primary purpose of this position is to serve as Logistics Readiness Squadron (LRS) Deputy in a squadron with more than 341 funded authorizations supporting a large installation with a joint operations mission. With the commander, the incumbent oversees the complex, numerous, and varied day-to-day support activities that the LRS provides installation-wide to HQ PACAF.
What You'll Do
- →As deputy to the commander, plans, organizes, and oversees the day-to-day support activities that the Squadron provides to the installation, US Army Alaska, Headquarters Pacific Air Forces.
- →Exercises supervisory personnel management responsibilities.
- →With the LRS Commander, directs, coordinates, and oversees the work of more than 341 personnel through subordinate supervisors.
- →Represents the LRS with a variety of installation and functional area organizations.
- →Participates in special projects and initiatives and performs special assignments to include long-term planning, functional technical advice and guidance, and continuity of management.
- →Identifies the need for special projects and initiates milestones and goals.
