As the Supervisory Logistics Management Specialist (Division Chief) within the Center Operations Directorate at SSC, you will hold a pivotal leadership role overseeing all aspects of the Logistics Management Division. This includes developing and implementing policies, refining procedures, managing operations, and aligning resources. You will lead a team of skilled logisticians, driving their efforts to ensure seamless and efficient logistics support for the center's critical missions.
What You'll Do
- →Manages Logistic Operations at Stennis Space Center.
- →Oversees, guides, manages, and integrates supply chain operations.
- →Provides expert technical and analytical advice, guidance, and leadership on all matters relating to logistics and supply management.
- →Coordinates communications within the logistics community and supports the agency communities of practice.
- →Engages customers regularly and coordinates with the customers to determine their needs and satisfaction level and the degree to which Logistics is meeting those needs and satisfaction.
- →Performs a full range of supervisory duties which includes assigning and evaluating work; recommending personnel actions; taking disciplinary actions; and identifying training needs and developing employees.
