About the Role
This position is in a Regional, Subregional or Resident Office of the National Labor Relations Board. This is a developmental position leading to the full performance grade of GS-0244-15. The incumbent performs developmental assignments intended to broaden knowledge and skills to reach the full performance grade level.
What You'll Do
- →Participating in the decision-making process of cases within the Regional Offices.
- →Participating with the supervisor and individual Field Attorney or Labor Relations Investigators in conferences with parties to cases in the attempt to obtain voluntary settlement of issues, or to obtain withdrawal of charges or petitions; facilitating voluntary disposition due to expert knowledge of labor management relations within the Regional Office.
- →Conferring with supervisors and individual Labor Relations Investigators and Field Attorneys on problems requiring assistance in resolving questions of fact, proof, jurisdiction, law or Board practice, procedure, or precedent, or in planning the investigation, processing, or disposition of difficult cases.
