About the Position: This position is located at Naval Health Clinic Lemoore, Lemoore CA. This is a Direct Hire Solicitation A recruitment or relocation incentive may be authorized.
What You'll Do
- →As first line supervisor, the incumbent reviews assignments and advises the CIO concerning the time and staff requirements, priorities and any exceptional project characteristics Installs and maintains software and hardware, control current versions and future releases of applications software, and document the physical configuration of all information systems.
- →Develops and maintains procedures for system operations and product assembly and installation.
- →Performs periodic audits and reviews to ensure STIGS have been properly implemented.
- →Plans, develops, and implements security techniques, procedures and guidance to ensure that user access control (physical, personnel, software, and information security) and other security requirements are in place.
- →Identifies the problem and provide expert technical advice on new or improved information technology and procedures and determines is improvement of current systems is required.
- →Serves as a technical expert performing feasibility studies, which involve application of emerging computer technology to resolve unique user network requirements.
- →Plans work to be accomplished by subordinates, sets and adjusts short-term priorities, and prepares schedules for completion of work.
- →Assigns work to subordinates based on priorities; evaluates work performance; gives advice, counsel or instruction to employees on both work and administrative matters.
- →Reviews the acquisition and implementation of new system hardware and software and develops operating procedures.
