This position is located with Bonneville Power Administration, in Enterprise Services organization (JNPE) of the Platform Services (JNP) organization of Enterprise Technology Operations Services (JN), Information Technology (J). A successful candidate in the Supervisory IT Specialist (SYSADMIN) position will serve as a supervisor of the Enterprise Services organization and a member of the Platform Services management team.
What You'll Do
- →As a Supervisory IT Specialist (SYSADMIN), you will: Manage a team of IT specialists by planning work, setting priorities, and overseeing performance to ensure the successful delivery of enterprise services.
- →Serve as a technical expert, offering guidance and recommendations to IT leadership and other departments on a wide variety of technology and business needs.
- →Create, implement, and maintain departmental policies and procedures to improve the services provided by the department.
- →Contribute to the overall IT infrastructure strategy and resolve complex operational problems that require coordination with other teams.
- →Ensure the rigorous application of information security and assurance policies, principles, and practices in the delivery of systems administration services.
- →Act as a representative for the organization and the IT department in meetings with other agencies and industry partners, guiding major IT projects and policies.
