You will serve as a SUPERVISORY IT SPECIALIST (POLICY PLANNING) within NAVAL SYSTEMS MANAGEMENT ACTIVITY. This position is in the excepted service and does not confer competitive status.
What You'll Do
- →You will serve as the ISaT Deputy Director as the principal advisor to the ISaT Director.
- →You will be responsible for assisting in the development of a comprehensive (IT) strategy to enable the Agency Sponsor’s strategic business objectives in support of business functions, mission operations, and overall warfighter support.
- →You will direct a staff and administrative personnel engaged in a broad range of IT management functions crucial to the development, testing, integration, implementation, surveillance, diagnosis, and maintenance of the IT initiatives.
- →You will direct IT strategy, operations, and sustainment services which guide and oversee the operations and transformation of Agency delivered IT services and support.
- →You will serve as the project leader and senior technical advisor responsible for devising, implementing, and overseeing the data and information management requirements of the Agency.
- →You will execute DON guidance for managing, directing, executing, overseeing, and implementing IT policies, strategies, and programs within the Agency.
